Dr. Honig is originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and did his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Honig has been practicing medicine in Lexington County for 22 years and joined SC Internal Medicine in January 2005. Dr. Honig is former Vice Chairman of the Physician's Assistant Committee for the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners and former Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Lexington Medical Center.
