Nurse Practitioner Carlotta Davis is originally from Miami, Florida and moved to South Carolina in 1983. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 and began working as a Registered Nurse at Lexington Medical Center. Carlotta completed her Master of Science degree in 1994 at the University of South Carolina focusing on Adult and Mental Health, and then later received her Nurse Practitioner Certification in 1999. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is also a Certified Diabetic Educator. Carlotta has been at SC Internal Medicine since January 2005. Her special medical interests are diabetes and preventative medicine; she has been instrumental in developing SC Internal Medicine's Diabetes Management Program. Carlotta resides in Lexington, SC with her husband and three children. When she is not working, Carlotta enjoys spending time with her family, the University of South Carolina football and baseball teams, mountain biking and gourmet cooking.
